You are hereJames O'Keefe
There's no publicity in the follow-up. Conservative activist James O'Keefe earned praise for secretly taping Virginia Rep. Jim Moran's son Patrick seemingly giving advice on how to commit voter fraud in October, but three months later law enforcement has closed their investigation because, they say, O'Keefe wouldn't cooperate.
Patrick "Patterico" Frey from Patterico.com has been sued in Federal court by Nadia Naffe for violation of her First Amendment rights, public disclosure invasion of privacy, false light invasion of privacy, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and negligent supervision. Frey, along with his wife Assistant LA DA Christi Frey and LA DA Steve Cooley were part of a federal lawsuit filed in California last week. From Courthouse News:
OFA is cooperating with law enforcement agencies that have opened criminal investigations into illegal activity by James O'keefe’s Project Veritas at the DC Board of Elections. This person has been identified as the man who entered the BOE on April 3rd, falsely identified himself, and surreptitiously video recorded BOE staffers. OFA wants this man’s ID so we can provide it to Law Enforcement officials who are investigating.
OFA EXCLUSIVE: Secret Operations Plan Against Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Otis Moss & Trinity United Church
Recently, VR and OFA received a trove of emails and documents from a whistleblower who worked for Project Veritas. We have spent weeks authenticating, compiling and categorizing these documents. Over the next several months, we will be breaking stories, here and in other publications, based on these documents as they relate to matters in the public interest. Readers will be shocked by the revelations that will be made in these stories as well as the persons who funded, planned and participated in clearly unethical and criminal activity. And now to the first story.
Very independent citizen-journalist James O’Keefe and his equally self-funded co-star in the ACORN stings, Hannah Giles, got real paid shortly after finishing their videos in the early fall of 2009, according to depositions taken three weeks ago. The pair admitted under oath to signing contracts with (the now recently deceased) Andrew Breitbart and his business partner, attorney Larry Solov, for the sum total of $120,000. Pretty shocking, right? You could buy a fairly high-end sex boat with that kind of cash. Or, one could, anyway.
Warning To James O'Keefe, according to sources, Investigation underway; evidence of potentially criminal activity will be referred to federal and District law enforcement authorities.
It seems Eric Holder and the DOJ is not impressed with your blatent criminal impersonations. Expect IRS revocation of your tax exempt status, expect your probation to be revoked, and do expect to be charged with conspiracy to commit electoral fraud. And probably a host of other charges. Eric Holder is probably NOT amused.
The District of Columbia Board of Elections today condemned a video circulating on the Internet that shows a person misrepresenting his identity at District polling places on Election Day. The Board confirmed that it is investigating multiple incidents that occurred on Tuesday, April 3.
Serial impersonation artist James O'Keefe continues to go about the business of criminally impersonating other people on camera, and so far has not been charged with criminal impersonation or conspiracy to commit impersonation through his employees.
Convicted federal criminal James O'Keefe and his band of co-conspirators at his ironically named Project Veritas outfit have another new video in their "Voter Fraud Investigation" series out. So that means, naturally, they're misleading the public again.
This time, O'Keefe's video portends to show some of his courageous, unnamed and unseen cohorts at various voter registration centers in Minnesota, asking whether they can have voter registration forms to take home to "Thomas Brady" and "Timothy Tebow", so they can register them to vote. The unseen voices are heard asking the helpful public clerks whether ID is necessary for those folks to register to vote. They are told that ID is not necessary in order for them to submit registration forms.
It's been reported that the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office has begun review of the voter fraud "sting" carried out by James O'Keefe's right-wing operatives in last Tuesday's primary election.
And Governor John Lynch issued a strong condemnation of O'Keefe's Washington-based group:
James O'Keefe, widely known as the undercover "pimp" who exposed ACORN, takes issue with New Hampshire's lack of required ID at the polls. The state, in turn, is taking issue with his methods.
That video is James O'Keefe describing his journalist "sting" project. In this specific case, he describes his "sting" investigating journalists for misinformation, bias and coverups, especially with respect to Huffington Post reporter Sam Stein.
It makes one wonder whether Media Matters' Eric Boehlert was a target of O'Keefe's grand plan.
James O’Keefe has been many things over the course of his life; one of them is a criminal impersonator. Outlining the crux of this criminal impersonator’s case, Kevin Zeese filed a series of documents with the federal court that oversees James O’Keefe and his probation, and also sent copies to his probation officer and the Department of Justice outlining how Mr. O’Keefe is a serial impersonator and con artist. These documents are published here, and I will outline some of the document in this article that concerns the MEACTrust.org website.

After pulling off the brazen hidden camera sting credited with bringing down the liberal organizing group ACORN, James O’Keefe dreamt up an even bolder plan: to build a permanent undercover video operation that would expose institutions of the American left. But things have not gone according to plan.
